Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with textile operations (production, knitting, weaving, dyeing, stitching, processing).
- Workforce planning for multiple units / mills.
- Ensure HR policies support productivity, efficiency, and cost control.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for factory and corporate roles (operators, technical staff, supervisors, executives).
- Monitor manpower strength, overtime, absenteeism, and deployment across shifts.
- Build a pipeline for critical technical positions (R&D, QC, weaving, maintenance, merchandising).
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Pakistan Labor Laws, EOBI, Social Security.
- Manage attendance, time office, payroll coordination, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain employee records, audits, HRMIS, and documentation.
4. Performance Management
- Implement KPIs and performance appraisal systems aligned with textile production targets.
- Identify high performers and create retention plans.
- Drive productivity improvement through skill assessments and training.
5. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations (IR)
- Maintain healthy relations between management and workers.
- Handle grievances, misconduct, conflict resolution, and union negotiations.
- Ensure safe work environment and compliance with health & safety regulations.
6. Training & Development
- Develop technical training programs for machine operators, dyeing staff, stitching teams, and supervisors.
- Conduct leadership development for middle management.
- Create induction programs for new employees.
7. Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee salary structuring, increments, allowances, and benefit programs.
- Conduct market salary analysis for textile industry benchmarks.
- Coordinate with finance for payroll accuracy and timely disbursement.
8. Administration & Support Functions
- Oversee transport, canteen, security, and other admin services.
- Manage audits (buyers, compliance teams).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s in HRM / MBA-HR / MPA (preferred).
- Professional certifications (HRM, SHRM, CHRP) are an advantage.
Required Experience
- 10–15 years of HR experience, preferably in textile industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior HR/GM-level role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance audits, and factory HR operations.
