Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sewing quality control team.
- Develop and implement quality control systems and SOPs for the sewing department.
- Ensure inline and end-line inspections are conducted effectively.
- Monitor production quality performance and reduce defects through root cause analysis.
- Implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
- Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, and Technical teams to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with buyer quality requirements and AQL standards.
- Conduct training programs for supervisors, line leaders, and QC inspectors.
- Analyze quality data and prepare monthly quality performance reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices.
- Handle buyer audits and third-party inspections.
Educational &Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering
Certification / Degree in Total Quality Management (TQM)
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in garment manufacturing.
At least 4–5 years in a managerial role within sewing quality control.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing operations, and defect analysis.
Experience working with international buyers.
