Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Perform automation testing using Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, and API testing tools
- Validate REST and SOAP web services through automated and manual testing
- Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks, reporting, and analysis tools
- Analyze the current testing landscape and drive improvements in automation coverage and testing efficiency
- Develop comprehensive test strategies covering automation, manual verification, and external validation
- Lead and support testing processes including test design, reviews, implementation, and execution
- Continuously improve QA methodologies, standards, and best practices across products
- Work closely with Infrastructure / DevOps teams to build and maintain testing environments and tooling
- Periodically review test strategies to align with emerging technologies and business needs
- Identify defects, track issues, and collaborate with development teams for resolution
- Participate in release readiness and quality sign-off activities
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Automation Testing
- Strong hands-on coding experience in automation is mandatory
- Experience with Java
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience using TestNG
- Experience with Cypress
- Strong API testing experience for REST and SOAP services
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
- Experience in manual and automated testing approaches
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration
- Familiarity with test reporting dashboards and analytics tools
- Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Exposure to cloud-based test environments
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant QA / Automation testing experience preferred
